Samsung Awards 56 Students at Innovation Campus in Nepal

Samsung awarded certificates to 56 students of Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University Institute of Engineering, for successfully completing the third batch of its Coding & Programming course under the Samsung Innovation Campus initiative.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University; Dr. Sanjaya Uprety, Campus Chief; and Dr. Sushil B. Bajracharya, Dean of the Institute of Engineering.

Jayanta Mani Kayasth, HR Manager of Samsung Nepal, highlighted the programme’s role in empowering youth with future-ready skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), and Coding & Programming. A new batch will now begin training in AI and Big Data.

Launched in December 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus selects students based on knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and programming. Along with technical training, students gain soft skills and work on socially significant projects applying AI, Big Data, Coding & Programming, and IoT to real-world challenges.

Dr. Sushil B. Bajracharya emphasized the collaboration’s impact, noting the programme’s role in expanding future-tech learning opportunities for Nepalese students.
