Indian budget airline IndiGo has announced the resumption of its scheduled flights to Kathmandu, alongside special relief services to assist passengers stranded amid ongoing unrest in Nepal.
According to an official travel advisory, the airline will operate four daily scheduled flights to and from Kathmandu starting September 11.
In addition to regular services, IndiGo plans to operate two special relief flights on the same day, pending regulatory approvals. These flights will be offered at special fares to help passengers return home more easily.
“In these extraordinary times in Kathmandu, our priority is to reunite you with your loved ones,” the airline said in a statement. “Your safety and peace of mind remain at the heart of every step we take.”
IndiGo has urged passengers to monitor its official communication channels for updates on flight operations and ticketing information.
