Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL) has reaffirmed its dedication to community and educational upliftment through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. On November 11, 2025 (Kartik 25, 2082 BS), the bank extended financial assistance of NPR 100,000 to Chandika Devi Secondary School located in Chandragiri–2, Badbhanjyang, Kathmandu.
The contribution is specifically aimed at renovating and painting the school building, a move intended to enhance the learning environment and create a cleaner, more inspiring atmosphere for students and teachers. This initiative exemplifies ADBL’s continued focus on education as a foundation for long-term social development.
A special handover event marked the occasion, attended by key officials from the bank including Deputy General Manager Mr. Minraj Pokharel, Department Head Ms. Bina Sharma, Manager Mr. Dil Bahadur Shrestha, and Senior Branch Officer Ms. Gita Nepal. Their participation reflected the institution’s strong commitment to grassroots-level engagement and education-focused philanthropy.
The school administration and faculty expressed deep appreciation for the support, noting that the funds will directly improve infrastructure and learning conditions. While specific allocations were not disclosed, the renovation budget is expected to cover painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep, ensuring the school’s facilities are more welcoming and sustainable.
Beyond this particular initiative, ADBL has maintained a robust CSR footprint, regularly supporting schools, health centers, and community projects across Nepal. Its previous contributions include classroom materials, inverters, furniture, and scholarship funding — all aimed at promoting education and community welfare.
Through this consistent pattern of social investment, ADBL continues to position itself as a financial institution deeply aligned with national development goals, including the vision of a “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.” By combining its agricultural and financial expertise with social initiatives, ADBL demonstrates a holistic approach to national progress — one that values education as much as economic growth.
The NPR 100,000 donation to Chandika Devi Secondary School stands as a symbol of ADBL’s enduring commitment to creating brighter learning spaces and stronger communities across the nation.
