Nepali youth should focus on building their future within the country rather than seeking opportunities abroad, says the Chairman of Tech Paaila Innovation. Emphasizing the need for a skill-based approach, he highlighted that young people should be enabled to create jobs instead of just finding them.

According to the chairman, schools should start teaching digital education, AI, and IT skills from grades 9 to 12, providing students with “Learn and Earn” opportunities from their own villages. Early exposure to these skills will allow students to gain practical expertise in software development, graphic design, data analysis, and AI solutions, preparing them for the global market.

Such initiatives would enable skilled youth to generate employment locally while significantly increasing foreign currency earnings for the country. “Nepal can now become a nation that exports not just labor, but knowledge and technology as well,” he stated.

To achieve this, the chairman urged that digital education be prioritized from school to university levels under a campaign titled “Digital Export from Nepal.” By connecting youth talent with technology, Nepal can evolve into a knowledge-based, self-reliant, and prosperous nation.

This vision seeks to retain local talent while equipping youth with the tools to participate in the global digital economy directly from their home regions.
