Nepal Life Insurance Company has announced a proposal to distribute a total dividend of 21.05% to its shareholders from the distributable profit of the fiscal year 2081/82. The decision was made during a meeting of the company’s Board of Directors.
Based on the current paid-up capital of NPR 9,02,87,63,209, the total dividend amounts to NPR 1,90,07,92,255. The distribution plan includes a 5% bonus share and a 16.05% cash dividend, inclusive of taxes.
The proposed dividend will be formally approved at the company’s 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) following the approval of the Insurance Board of Nepal. Once approved, the dividend will be distributed to eligible shareholders.
