Nepal Bank Limited successfully held its 66th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday at the Nepal Police Club, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The meeting, chaired by the Bank’s Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Dilliraj Sharma, unanimously approved the Board of Directors’ annual report for the fiscal year 2081/82, along with the Auditor’s report and the financial statements as of Ashad-end 2082.
The AGM also approved the remuneration, service terms, and facilities for the auditors for fiscal year 2082/83 and granted the Board the authority to appoint auditors after consulting the Office of the Auditor General.
In accordance with Rule 31 of the bank’s bylaws, the AGM approved necessary amendments to the directors’ remuneration, allowances, and benefits. Additionally, the Board was authorized to implement any adjustments suggested by regulatory authorities regarding the proposed amendments.
The 66th AGM reaffirmed Nepal Bank’s commitment to financial transparency, sound governance, and proactive management by its Board of Directors.
