The seventh edition of ‘Skill Week 2026’, organized by Glocal After School, concluded with a grand ceremony at The Plaza, Lalitpur on Monday. The event witnessed participation from renowned entrepreneurs, government diplomats, and over 100 enthusiastic youths.
Held from January 11 to 16, this year’s edition was celebrated as an ‘Infotainment Week’, featuring workshops, skill-based competitions, exhibitions, learning sessions, entertainment activities, job fairs, case study presentations, and musical concerts.
During the closing ceremony, five notable personalities were honored with the ‘Skill Hero Award 2026’ for their outstanding contributions in various fields:

Alongside, a ‘Skill Fest’ was held on January 16 at Embark College, Pulchok, including workshops, exhibitions, and job fairs. The 11th edition of ‘CEO Unplugged’ also took place the same day, where industry leaders discussed the importance of skills for the future market and bridging the gap between education and industry.
The event provided a platform for youth to learn, showcase skills, and gain inspiration, while fostering collaboration among industry, education, and government sectors.
