Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Ltd. (KSBBL) has introduced a groundbreaking product that redefines personalized banking in Nepal — the ‘Bishista Bachat Khata’, a premium savings account designed for customers who value exclusivity, convenience, and personalized service.

Positioned as Nepal’s first-ever Doorstep Banking account, this offering caters to high-net-worth individuals, professionals, senior citizens, and people with mobility challenges, ensuring that banking services come directly to the customer’s location — home, office, or elsewhere — through the bank’s dedicated mobile platform ‘KS iMobile’.

The Bishista Bachat Khata stands on three core pillars — Exclusivity, Privileges, and Returns — combining digital innovation with human-centered service.

Under Exclusivity, customers can access fully personalized services delivered right to their doorstep, including cheque book delivery, account statements, cash/document pickups, and appointments for financial consultations.

In terms of Privileges, the account provides a free debit card, free locker facility, zero locker security deposit, and complimentary Demat and MeroShare accounts, creating a premium package for clients who value time and convenience.

On Returns, the account offers a competitive interest rate of 4.25% per annum, calculated daily and paid quarterly. Clients are required to maintain a minimum balance of NPR 50,000 to enjoy these benefits.

Currently, the Doorstep Banking service is available within the Kathmandu Valley, with plans for future expansion. The initiative has positioned Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank as a pioneer of inclusive and customer-focused banking, blending digital efficiency with personal service.

By introducing Bishista Bachat Khata, the bank has moved beyond traditional financial products to create a luxurious yet accessible banking experience, reflecting a deep understanding of evolving customer needs in Nepal’s competitive banking landscape.
