Sun Nepal Life Deputy CEO Kabi Phuyal Resigns

Kabi Phuyal has officially tendered his resignation from the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) at Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, marking a significant development in the company’s executive leadership.

Phuyal confirmed his resignation in a brief statement, stating that he had submitted his notice with a three-month notice period before officially stepping down from his executive position. He also indicated that further details regarding his departure would be disclosed in due course.

Four-Year Experience as CEO of IME Life Insurance

Before joining Sun Nepal Life Insurance, Phuyal served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IME Life Insurance for four years.

His previous tenure as CEO provided him with executive-level experience in Nepal’s life insurance industry. Following his four-year leadership role at IME Life Insurance, he joined Sun Nepal Life Insurance, where he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

His resignation marks a notable executive-level change in Nepal’s insurance sector, given his professional background and previous leadership experience.
