Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has been re-certified for the third consecutive time under the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The Bank has maintained an internationally recognized Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the delivery of quality services under international standards. Accordingly, the Bank was initially certified under ISO 9001:2015, effective from Shrawan 32, 2081 (August 16, 2024), and successfully renewed its certification following the first surveillance audit conducted in Bhadra 2082. Subsequently, following the third surveillance audit conducted in Shrawan 2083, the Bank has once again been re-certified, effective from Shrawan 32, 2083 (August 16, 2026).
The Bank has obtained the certification under the scope of “Provision of Development Banking Activities,” making Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank one of the leading development banks in Nepal to receive such certification.
Only institutions that have established a strong Quality Management System in line with international standards, demonstrated their ability to consistently provide quality services, ensure customer satisfaction, and continuously improve their operational processes are eligible to receive such certification. The certification process involved a comprehensive assessment and detailed audit of the Bank’s policies, rules, procedures, documentation, and overall management system.
