Kathmandu, October 29, 2026 — The Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu organized a discussion programme on Thursday to observe Kashmir Black Day under the theme “International Diplomacy and the Way Forward for Kashmir.”
The programme marked the 79th anniversary of October 27, 1947, when Indian forces landed in Srinagar. He also highlighted restrictions on fundamental freedoms and the continued detention of Kashmiri political leaders and activists.
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar stressed the importance of sustained international engagement to address human rights concerns and support a peaceful, lasting settlement based on relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
