Kathmandu: The upcoming Nepali movie ‘Jhinge Dau 2’ has released its new song ‘Hey Maya Najikai Sar’ ahead of the Dashain festival.
The song has been released through OSR Digital, targeting the festive season and building excitement for the film’s nationwide release.
‘Jhinge Dau 2’ is scheduled to hit cinemas across Nepal from Asoj 2.
The song features lyrics and music by Arjun Pokharel, with vocals by Ramchandra Kafle and Shantishree Pariyar. The music video has been choreographed by Ramji Lamichhane.
The film features a prominent cast including Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, Kushal Bista, Aryan Sigdel, Hiunwala Gautam, Saroj Khanal, Basundhara Bhusal and Chaityadevi Singh, among others.
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the movie has been produced under the banners of KapanGadhi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal Pvt. Ltd. The film is backed by Sulabh Pratik Deuja and Samikshya Deuja, with Roshani Adhikari Deuja and Neetu Shrestha Deuja serving as co-producers.
The screenplay and dialogues have been prepared by Parichhed Sen, while the story has been written by Govinda Phuyal and Shishir Chalise.
Bishnu Ghimire ‘Kalpit’ has handled cinematography, Mitra D. Gurung is responsible for editing, Roshan Shrestha has directed the action sequences, and Ishwar Ghimire has managed production.
With its new festive song, ‘Jhinge Dau 2’ is looking to create a strong buzz among audiences ahead of its Dashain release.
