Kathmandu: Infinity Laghubitta has completed a refresher orientation program aimed at enhancing the capacity of its employees and strengthening their understanding of institutional policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
The two-day training program was conducted on Bhadra 20 and 21, 2083, through 15 stations across the country, covering employees working at 102 branch offices. A total of 343 employees, ranging from branch managers to field assistants, participated in the program.
Officials from the central office and heads of various departments were present during the program, while the respective monitoring officers conducted and facilitated the training sessions.
During the training, employees were provided with refresher knowledge on the institution’s credit and savings policies, recovery policy, key implementation provisions, customer protection and corporate social responsibility. The program also included interactive discussions on practical problems encountered at branches and in field operations, possible solutions and areas requiring improvement in work procedures.
The program also covered major provisions of the Unified Directives issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, along with the institution’s internal circulars and their effective implementation. Employees were provided with necessary information and guidance regarding the institutional procedures, policies and compliance requirements they need to follow while carrying out their responsibilities.
Similarly, the training focused on improving the effectiveness of employees’ day-to-day performance, maintaining uniformity in work procedures and ensuring the practical implementation of institutional policies.
Participants described the training as useful and practical, particularly because it provided an opportunity to discuss issues directly related to their respective areas of work. They expressed the view that the program would help resolve queries related to policies and compliance while bringing greater clarity and effectiveness to their daily responsibilities.
The institution stated that open discussions on practical challenges faced in the field and their possible solutions also helped strengthen employees’ confidence and sense of responsibility.
By covering 343 employees from 102 branches through 15 stations nationwide, the program is expected to contribute to stronger institutional governance, greater clarity on policies and compliance, responsible service delivery and consistency in work procedures. The institution further expects that the interaction on practical challenges, solutions and improvements in work processes will contribute to enhancing employee performance and overall organizational effectiveness.
