Islamabad, September 3, 2026: Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad and met with H.E. Ambassador of Nepal Rita Dithal to express his deep condolences over the loss of precious lives caused by the devastating floods that recently struck Nepal.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones in the disaster and expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal during this difficult time.
He also expressed his concern over the destruction caused by the floods and extended his sympathies to all those affected. Prime Minister Sharif prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and for the safe rescue of those still missing.
The visit reflected Pakistan’s solidarity with Nepal and its people at a time of deep sorrow and hardship.
