Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited and Autoways Private Limited, the authorized distributor of Bull construction equipment in Nepal, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide streamlined credit facilities to customers purchasing Bull machinery.

The strategic partnership aims to ease access to equipment financing for construction businesses and support greater investment in the productive sector.

The MOU was signed by Baburam Dhakal, Head of Gandaki Region at Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited, and Narayan Prasad Poudel, Chairman and Managing Director of Autoways Private Limited, representing their respective organizations.

Under the agreement, Muktinath Bikas Bank will provide credit facilities of up to 50 percent of the dealer invoice value, with the purchased Bull machinery serving as the primary collateral.

Customers who provide additional acceptable fixed-asset collateral can access financing of up to 80 percent of the dealer invoice value, subject to the bank’s evaluation and prevailing credit policies.

Eligible borrowers will receive financing at competitive minimum interest rates under the terms of the agreement.

The partnership is expected to improve financial access for construction contractors seeking to purchase machinery while also supporting Muktinath Bikas Bank’s broader lending portfolio across housing, auto, agricultural, and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) loans.

Through the collaboration, the two organizations aim to make construction equipment financing more accessible and contribute to investment expansion in productive business activities.
