Everest Bank Announces Revised Deposit and Loan Interest Rates

Everest Bank Limited has officially announced its updated interest rates on deposits and loans, effective 1st Mangsir 2082 (17 November 2025).

The revision reflects the bank’s current liquidity management strategy and its positioning within the Nepalese financial market. These rates aim to benefit both depositors and borrowers.

Deposit Rates:

  • Saving Accounts: NPR savings accounts offer 2.75%–4% per annum.

    • Highest: Remittance Plus and Saving Gorkha Regiment accounts at 4%.

    • General and specialized accounts: 2.75%–2.80%.

  • Fixed Deposits (NPR):

    • 3–6 months: 3%

    • 6 months–2 years: 3.75%

    • 2–5 years: 4%

    • Above 5 years: 5%

  • Call Deposits: Normal 1%, Smart Call Deposit as per applicable slabs.

  • Foreign Currency (FCY) Deposits: USD Fixed Deposit 3.25%, USD Call Deposit 1.50%.

Loan Rates:

  • Individual Loans: Fixed 7.49%–10%, Floating BR+1%–4%

    • Housing and vehicle loans: 7.49%

    • Education, Flexi, Agro, and general retail loans: around 9%

  • SME and Corporate Loans: Fixed 8.50%, Floating BR+0.5%–3%

  • Concessional Loans: 1% discount for senior citizens and disadvantaged groups.

Everest Bank states that the revised interest rates provide diverse options for customers and encourage long-term investment with optimal returns.
