Kathmandu: Reliance Spinning Mills Limited has proposed a 30% cash dividend for its shareholders, amounting to a total distribution of Rs. 570 million, based on the company’s current paid-up capital.
The decision was taken by the company’s Board of Directors at its 422nd meeting held on Bhadra 29, 2083, alongside approval of the company’s financial statements for the fiscal year 2082/83.
Rs. 30 Cash Dividend Per Share
Reliance Spinning Mills currently has a paid-up capital of approximately Rs. 1.90 billion. Under the proposed dividend structure, shareholders would receive a cash dividend equivalent to 30% of the Rs. 100 face value, or Rs. 30 per share, before applicable tax deductions.
The company has proposed a total cash distribution of Rs. 570 million, including applicable tax provisions.

The company has also announced the schedule for its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Shareholders whose names remain on the company’s shareholder register before the book closure will be eligible for the proposed dividend, subject to the applicable approval process.
Dividend Still Subject to Regulatory and Shareholder Approval
The proposed Rs. 570 million cash dividend is not yet final for distribution. The proposal must receive the required approval from the relevant regulatory authorities and subsequently be endorsed by shareholders at the upcoming AGM.
If approved, the dividend will provide shareholders with a direct cash return from the company’s financial performance for FY 2082/83.
