Kathmandu-Chairman of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Ravi Lamichhane, has called an all-party meeting to discuss the country’s current political situation and the challenges arising from recent natural disasters.
According to RSP spokesperson Jagadish Kharel, the meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the RSP Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar.
The formation of a high-level political coordination mechanism is expected to be one of the key issues on the meeting’s agenda. The meeting will focus on strengthening coordination and cooperation among political parties and exploring ways to build a common understanding on issues of national importance.
The parties are also expected to discuss disaster risk reduction and management, particularly in light of the recent natural disasters affecting different parts of the country.
