Toyota has launched the all-new RAV4 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) in Nepal, marketed with the tagline, “Made for those who live to explore.” The SUV combines Toyota’s renowned reliability with advanced hybrid technology, making it ideal for Nepal’s varied landscapes—from busy urban streets to rugged Himalayan trails.

The RAV4 HEV features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor, providing smooth, responsive, and powerful performance. The hybrid system intelligently switches between the petrol engine, electric motor, or a combination of both, offering exceptional fuel efficiency and lower emissions. At low speeds, it can operate solely on electric power, while the battery recharges automatically through regenerative braking.

Built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, the SUV has a low center of gravity, wide stance, and generous ground clearance. The available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system ensures superior traction on slippery or uneven roads, making it well-suited for Nepal’s challenging conditions.

The RAV4 HEV’s interior prioritizes comfort and technology for long journeys. It includes power-adjustable leather seats, dual-zone climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless charging pad. Drivers also benefit from a multi-information display and ergonomic design for a refined driving experience.

Safety features are comprehensive, including multiple SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control System (TRC), and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC). These systems enhance occupant protection and vehicle stability in steep or slippery terrain.

With its combination of eco-friendly performance, advanced safety, and off-road capability, the Toyota RAV4 HEV positions itself as a premium choice for Nepali adventurers seeking reliability, comfort, and sustainability in one SUV.
