Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited has successfully concluded its nationwide ‘Award Ceremony and Skill Enhancement Program,’ reaffirming its strong commitment to empowering its agency network across Nepal.

The series of high-impact events took place in Itahari, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, and Kathmandu, blending motivation, recognition, and professional development for the company’s Citizen Leaders. Each program drew between 250 and 360 participants, representing Citizen Life’s leadership teams from the Eastern, Mid-Western, Western, and Central regions.

Events were hosted at Solti Westend (Itahari), Tiger Palace Resort (Bhairahawa), Tika Resort (Pokhara), and Smart Palace (Chabahil, Kathmandu)—venues chosen to ensure participation from all parts of the country, making the initiative inclusive and representative of Citizen Life’s nationwide presence.

Building Skills and Motivation

The dual objective of the program was to enhance professional capabilities and recognize outstanding performance. Senior company officials, including the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Business Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Head of Training Department, led impactful training sessions focused on:

  • Advanced Product Knowledge and client-matching strategies

  • Consultative Selling Techniques and relationship-building skills

  • Digital and CRM Proficiency for efficiency and client engagement

  • Leadership and Team-Building Skills for high-performing agents

The program’s training modules were designed to prepare Citizen Leaders to meet the evolving demands of Nepal’s competitive insurance market, aligning individual growth with organizational success.

Recognizing Excellence

Citizen Life also recognized top achievers with Bronze Club Awards for the fiscal year 2081/82, symbolizing exceptional sales and leadership performance. Additionally, ‘Hero of the Day’ awards were presented to daily top performers, fostering motivation and healthy competition.

The company emphasized that recognition and reward are core to its culture—encouraging enthusiasm, professionalism, and positivity within the agency force.

Energy, Entertainment, and Future Plans

Following the training sessions, the events featured cultural performances to celebrate teamwork and morale. Notably, popular folk singer Milan Lama performed in Pokhara and Kathmandu, adding a festive touch to the program.

Citizen Life described the series as “vibrant, successful, and inspiring,” highlighting the initiative’s role in strengthening its national sales network. The company also announced that similar events will soon be held in the Western and Hetauda regions, ensuring full nationwide coverage.

Through this initiative, Citizen Life continues to position itself not just as an insurance provider, but as a career development partner, empowering its workforce to deliver excellence across Nepal.
