Kamana Sewa Development Bank Celebrates 19th Anniversary with Blood Donation, Sports & New Savings Plan

Kamana Sewa Development Bank celebrated its 19th anniversary with a series of events including a nationwide blood donation drive, interbank futsal cup, financial literacy programs, and the launch of a new savings plan “Alpha Grow.”

The blood donation drive was organized across all regional and central offices on Kartik 27, collecting a total of 429 pints of blood. The program in Butwal was inaugurated by Board Director Bhim Prasad Tulachan, while at the central office, Deputy CEO Binay Dahal handed over blood bags to Bhavana Pandey of Himal Hospital.

During the 5th Interbank Futsal Cup, Siddhartha Bank won the men’s category, and Lumbini Development Bank emerged victorious in the women’s category. Additionally, the bank’s Amarsingh and Pokhara Nyroad branches conducted financial literacy programs in local schools.

On the anniversary, the bank also launched a new deposit scheme, “Alpha Grow,” targeted at children up to 18 years old. The plan provides life insurance coverage of up to NPR 50,000 and attractive benefits, with premiums covered by the bank until the child turns 18. The bank aims to promote a saving habit among children and provide long-term financial security for parents.
