Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari Expresses Grief Over Floods and Landslides in Rasuwa

Kathmandu — President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and devastation caused by flash floods and landslides in the Nepal–Tibet border area of Rasuwa.

President Zardari expressed concern over the loss of human lives and the difficult situation caused by the natural disaster. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured, and hoped that those still missing would be found safe.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal during this difficult hour and extended his deepest sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.

President Zardari further expressed hope that rescue and relief efforts in the affected areas would be carried out effectively and that the affected families would receive timely assistance and relief.
