Kathmandu: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited successfully concluded its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Bhadra 31, 2083, at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.
The AGM was chaired by the bank’s Board of Directors Chairman Sudeep Acharya and approved several key proposals for Fiscal Year 2082/83.
The meeting approved a 15 percent cash dividend on the bank’s paid-up capital for ordinary shareholders. The proposed cash dividend is inclusive of applicable taxes.
Similarly, the AGM approved a proportionate 9 percent cash dividend for preference shareholders for the period from the allotment date of the preference shares through the end of Ashar 2083.
Financial Statements Approved Unanimously
The AGM unanimously approved the audited financial statements for FY 2082/83. The approved financial statements include the balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement and related schedules.
The meeting also approved the appointment of NBSM & Associates as the bank’s external auditor for the upcoming tenure.
Shareholders’ Queries Addressed
During the AGM, Chairman Sudeep Acharya and Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Thakali addressed questions and inquiries raised by shareholders.
Speaking at the meeting, CEO Dinesh Thakali highlighted the bank’s track record of consistently distributing double-digit dividends. He also reiterated the management’s commitment to strengthening the institution’s sustainability and resilience while focusing on its future growth and development.
The bank stated that it will continue to prioritize institutional sustainability, stability and long-term business development.
