Kathmandu: Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has introduced the Muktinath Faida App, a mobile banking application designed for individual account holders to manage their financial activities conveniently and securely through their mobile devices.
Integrated with the Fonepay network, the app enables customers to make instant interbank fund transfers, pay utility bills, and conduct QR-based merchant payments. It combines account management, payments, transfers, and several self-service banking features within a single digital platform.
The application provides a centralized dashboard where customers can view their linked savings accounts and active loan accounts, along with graphical account statements.
For enhanced security, the app supports biometric authentication, allowing customers to use fingerprint recognition for both application login and transaction authentication.
Customers can also generate a personalized QR code to receive payments directly into their Muktinath Bikas Bank account.
The app includes SMS banking functionality, enabling customers to access essential banking services even when an active internet connection is unavailable.
Customers can set up scheduled payments for recurring bills and other financial commitments. The app also allows users to open a new Fixed Deposit account and apply for a Loan Against Fixed Deposit without visiting a bank branch.
In addition, customers can request ATM card renewals and activate e-commerce online payment services directly through the app.
Digital Banking Services
The Muktinath Faida App allows customers to check real-time account balances, transaction histories, and mini statements.
Customers can recharge NTC Prepaid, NTC Postpaid, Ncell Prepaid, Ncell Postpaid, NT Landline, and ADSL services through the application.
The app also enables users to purchase digital recharge cards for services including NT GSM, NT CDMA, Dishhome, Broadlink Internet, Smart Cell, and other service providers.
Customers can load funds into popular digital wallets such as eSewa for online shopping and wallet-related transactions.

Through its Fonepay integration, customers can make cashless QR payments at thousands of merchant outlets across Nepal.
The application also supports both intra-bank and interbank fund transfers. Transfers between Muktinath Bikas Bank accounts are free, while a NPR 10 service charge per transaction applies when transferring funds to accounts at other banks.
