October 7, 2026. Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBB) has selected American Life Insurance Company to provide group accident insurance coverage for its employees.
The insurance company was selected following a detailed evaluation of bids submitted through the bank’s tender process. According to the evaluation, American Life Insurance submitted a substantially responsive proposal that was closest to the average bid amount and lower than the bank’s estimated cost.
The total premium for the group accident insurance coverage has been fixed at NPR 3,963,240 (approximately NPR 3.96 million).
The insurance scheme will provide comprehensive group accident coverage to RBB employees, offering financial protection against risks arising from accidental incidents.
The selection is part of the bank’s employee welfare and risk-management measures, aimed at strengthening social and financial protection for its workforce.
By choosing the insurer through a competitive tender process, RBB has also emphasized a cost-effective and transparent approach to procuring insurance services for its employees.
