Kathmandu. Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has issued a 15-day public auction notice inviting sealed bids for the sale of various mortgaged properties, including land, buildings and vehicles, following loan repayment defaults by borrowers.
The bank published the first notice on Ashwin 1, 2083, stating that the properties will be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis.
Interested bidders can submit their bids to the bank’s Assets Recovery Department at Hattisar, Kathmandu, or the respective branch offices. The sealed bids will be opened on Ashwin 16, 2083, at 11:00 AM at the Assets Recovery Department in Hattisar.
Properties Under Balaju Branch
Under the bank’s Balaju Branch, Precision Auto Electronics Tech Services, operated by Ram Sharan Humagain, is listed as the borrower. Ram Sharan Humagain, Sumitra Humagain, Ramesh Humagain, Amrit Kumar Tiwari and Kumari Tiwari are listed as mortgagors.
The collateral includes land and buildings registered in the name of Amrit Kumar Tiwari at Urlabari VDC Ward No. 4, Morang, under Plot Nos. 805 and 807, covering 0-0-18.75 Bigha and 0-0-10 Bigha, respectively.
Another collateral property registered in the name of Ram Sharan Humagain is located at Goldhunga VDC Ward No. 3, Kathmandu, under Plot No. 464, covering 0-2-1-0 Ropani.
Five Borrowers Under Lahan Branch
Under the Lahan Branch, Jay Guru Engineering Works, operated by Kumari Devi, is one of the borrowers. Kumari Devi, Sanjeev Kumar Kamti and Rohit Kumar Kamti are listed as mortgagors.
The collateral is land registered in the name of Sanjeev Kumar Kamti at Lahan Municipality Ward No. 1, Siraha, under Plot Nos. 387, 388 and 389, with a total area of 0-0-15 Bigha.
Another borrower, Bishnu Kumar Sah, has collateral involving Bishnu Kumar Sah, Parameshwar Sah, Shyam Kumar Khatwe and Poonam Devi Sah as mortgagors. The collateral land registered in Bishnu Kumar Sah’s name is located at Lahan Municipality Ward No. 5, Siraha, under Plot Nos. 1205 and 1207, covering a total of 0-1-11.5 Bigha.
Shrestha Traders, operated by Resham Lal Shrestha, is also listed as a borrower. Resham Lal Shrestha, Mohan Prasad Shrestha and Poonam Devi Shrestha are the mortgagors. Land and building registered in the name of Poonam Devi Shrestha at Urlabari VDC Ward No. 4, Morang, under Plot Nos. 1193 and 1194, with a total area of 0-0-10 Bigha, have been put up for auction.
Similarly, Anuj Enterprises, operated by Anuj Kumar Sharma, is listed as a borrower, with Anuj Kumar Sharma, Rajendra Prasad Sharma and Shanti Devi as mortgagors. Land and building registered in Anuj Kumar Sharma’s name at Lahan Municipality Ward No. 1, Siraha, under Plot Nos. 331 and 332, cover a total of 0-1-0 Bigha.
The bank has also listed collateral against the loan of Ram Chandra Sah, with Ram Chandra Sah, Umesh Prasad Mahato, Rameshwar Mahato and Geeta Devi as mortgagors. The land registered in Geeta Devi’s name at Lahan Municipality Ward No. 1, Siraha, under Plot Nos. 370 and 371, covers 0-1-0 Bigha.
Land, Building and Vehicles Under Biratnagar Branch
Under the Biratnagar Branch, Vibrant Food Processing Industries, operated by Rinku Agrawal, is listed as a borrower. Rinku Agrawal, Shiv Kumar Sah and Dinesh Kumar Rajput are the mortgagors.
Land and building registered in Rinku Agrawal’s name at Tankisinuwari VDC Ward No. 2, Morang, under Plot Nos. 59, 60, 61, 62, 63 and 64, cover a total area of 0-2-10 Bigha.
Land registered in the name of Shiv Kumar Sah at the same location under Plot Nos. 1027 and 1028, with a total area of 0-1-0 Bigha, is also included.
The collateral additionally includes vehicles, including a Mahindra Bolero and Tata Nexon.
Two Borrowers Under Itahari Branch
Under the Itahari Branch, Koshi Terai Sahakari Sanstha, represented by Tulsi Ram Thapa, is listed as a borrower. Tulsi Ram Thapa and Radha Thapa are the mortgagors.
The collateral is land and building registered in Tulsi Ram Thapa’s name at Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 2, Sunsari, under Plot No. 5604, covering 0-0-13.5 Bigha.
Another borrower, Kamala Sah, has Kamala Sah, Shyam Kumar Sah and Shyam Sundar Sah listed as mortgagors. The collateral consists of land and building registered in Shyam Sundar Sah’s name at Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 2, Sunsari, under Plot Nos. 570 and 571, covering a total of 0-0-10 Bigha.
Property Under Dosro-Pahilo Branch, Lalitpur
Under the bank’s Dosro-Pahilo Branch in Lalitpur, Navaraj Tamang is listed as the borrower, while Navaraj Tamang and Seti Maya Tamang are the mortgagors.
The collateral property is land and a building registered in Seti Maya Tamang’s name at Imadol VDC Ward No. 8, Lalitpur, under Plot No. 2028, covering 0-3-2-0 Ropani.
10 Percent Bid Security Required
The bank has stated that interested bidders must obtain the official bid application form from Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited.
Bidders must deposit a bid security equivalent to 10 percent of their proposed total bid value into the bank account. Alternatively, the required security may be submitted through a Good for Payment Manager Cheque.
Successful bidders must pay the remaining balance of the approved bid amount within the timeframe specified by the bank. Failure to make the required payment within the stipulated period will result in the forfeiture of the deposited security amount.
The successful bidder will also be responsible for all applicable taxes, government charges and property registration expenses associated with the transfer of ownership.
The auction is part of the bank’s loan recovery process involving collateral properties and vehicles pledged against loans where borrowers have failed to meet their repayment obligations.
