Kathmandu: Pakistan has provided 100 tons of relief materials to Nepal to support people affected by the devastating floods and landslides.
The relief consignment arrived in Kathmandu today. It includes essential supplies such as tents, blankets, mats, hygiene and sanitation kits, medicines and other relief materials for people affected by the floods and landslides.
H.E. Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Aamir Khan handed over the relief consignment to Hon. Minister Mahabir Pun. On the occasion, Ambassador Khan said that Pakistan stands firmly with Nepal and its people during this difficult hour.
Ambassador Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support and solidarity with the people affected by the floods and landslides. He also said that Pakistan remains ready to provide necessary assistance to the Government and people of Nepal in overcoming the difficulties caused by the disaster.
Pakistan has expressed its deepest sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones and to all those affected by the floods and landslides. It has also reiterated its commitment to providing all possible support and assistance to Nepal during the relief and recovery efforts.
